At least that's the idea when they gave William Jefferson a standing ovation. Already under investigation for accepting a $100,000 bribe, of which $90,000 was recovered in his freezer, it makes me wonder how low they will go with someone who's obviously as guilty as he is.

I wonder if he'll play the race card. "It's all about me being black. It's the white man who's kept me down...blah blah blah." Sure buddy, it has nothing to do with the fact you've been video taped accepting $100k and then investigators finding it in your freezer. He's not even denying that he accepted the money. In fact, he's not saying "I didn't accept a bribe", he's just attacking the very idea that his offices can be searched by the FBI. That's a tactic of a guilty man.
