British Public Pissed At Sailors
So the British sailors who were captured, then later released by the Iranian government are now selling their stories to the media. That's not going over very well to the British public.
Personally, I'm on the fence with this one. Yes, I think that if a soldier could make a few bucks and not harm national security interests, I don't see the harm in them selling their stories. They generally make shit for wages, so if they could make enough money to buy themselves a home, I don't have a problem with it.
On the other hand, it does seem a bit tacky, but I'm not in their shoes, so I can't really judge them on this point. But the British government has said that it was ok for them to sell it, so it's really a moot point.
