ACLU Loses Lawsuit
Over the NSA spying program. I find it very odd though that they lost simply because they can't show that they were directly effected by the spying program. Isn't that what the ACLU is for? To protect people from various government interferences?
But they have the option of appealing, which looks very likely. The only real question is, does the NSA only spy on suspected terrorists, or are they spying across the board and looking for patterns in which to find terrorists and criminals? If they are spying across the board, there's definitely some asses that might get thrown through the ringer.
