Bill Clinton Pissed At Bush Over Commutation
Wow. This from a guy who pardoned a known fugitive and tax cheat who in essence bribed his way back into legitimacy and members of a terrorist organization.
Bush administration officials, he said, "believe that they should be able to do what they want to do, and that the law is a minor obstacle."
That's a set of balls that this guy has to be able to say that with a straight face. Clinton had no problem with pardoning Marc Rich who, quite coincidently gave $1 million to Democratic organizations, who had no problem pardoning members of FALN, who had no problem pardoning his half brother, friends of his brother in laws, even his partner in crime with the Whitewater scandal.
But of course, all over the internet, you'll see people proclaim that Clinton's pardon was different because of this reason or that. Nevermind that Marc Rich's pardon was in essence a bribe, or how he pardoned his half brother. Nah, that's all coincidental.
