Right Wing Lunatic

This is what, in my strongest opinion in following this war closely and watching as the politicians, mainly democrats in/and Congress are doing to this country. They are using our Soldiers, they are using HUMAN LIFE, our Soldiers, and their Commanders like a weapon. Like a vicious former spouse will do with their child, using the child AGAINST the other parent. Same thing, these ones who refuse to listen to the Military Commanders when its the Military Commanders who KNOW what is best, what situation they are in over there in this war and what is best and how many Soldiers are needed to carry out their mission. And then you have politicians going over there and assessing the situation, THAT is what is WRONG with this war, the POLITICIANS sticking THEIR NOSE In MILITARY BUSINESS, that is NOT their field of expertise, to start with. I don't blame the Soldier's one bit for being upset with these polititions. Our Soldiers are trained BETTER than to think Politicians know whats best for them. Their MILITARY LEADERS are the ones who KNOW what is best for their Soldiers, and for the Well-Being of THEIR Soldiers.
Thats what the Politicians in Congress are doing, they are USING OUR SOLDIERS as THEIR WEAPONS against Their Commander in Chief, and MILITARY COMMANDERS. CUT AND DRIED, that is MY opinion, and Do NOT expect it to change. Its a matter of Congress wanting to TAKE OVER THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, INCLUDING AMERICA'S Military and its COMMANDERS, IMO, and don't think I am wrong, because I am not.
 

Then you are as blind as all the other trained seals clapping and barking happily at everything Bush feeds you. What do you think Bush and Rumsfeld were doing for the last 4 years with our troops! You accuse the Democrats of using our troops as a weapon. What was that Bush said to the terrorists on TV at the start of the war? "To the terrorists all over Iraq, I say this, Bring'em on." Yeah, encourage them to kill our boys and girls in uniform, oh and don't let me have to remind you, Osama Bin Laden had his boys drop the twin towers in New York, NOT Saddam Hussein in Iraq. God, open your eyes and TRY to remember the reason we were supposed to be going over to the Middle East in the first place. If anyone was using our troops as pawns in a chess game of death, it is Bush, Cheney, and the now fired Rumsfeld. So convince yourself again, if you can, that you're right cause you may be of the Right but right you are not.

You see, THIS is what I wanted when I started this site: spirited debate and insight to events going on in the world. Both of you have very passionate opinions on both sides of the argument.

But, commanders in the field do need to be listened to and I've noticed politicians on both sides have used snippets from the commanders to push their agenda. The problem really is that if we do pull out guys out of Iraq, Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups will become emboldened, just like I wrote about here:

It finally dawned on me. 3 draft deferments, never served a day in the military, let alone combat, Cheney is actually anti-troops. He compensating for the yellow streak down his back. So he sends our troops off to die for no good reason just to somehow make himself feel adequate for never having served. God has a special place in hell for him.
 

I agree with Michael, you are blind. I have a son serving in northeast Baghdad. He has been there 7 months. The servicemen there know that the Iraq police are more corrupt than the terrorist's and the men that are being trained in Iraq for the military think most of the training is a joke. We send trash cans to this city which is another joke but yet raw sewage is dumped into the streets for children to play in. Yet our servicemen can have only one set of sheets. When you are sending out your laundry and it takes a week or more for it to come back what are you supposed to do? The Iraq's have no idea what we want them to do, nor do they care. The servicemen know that no matter how long they stay nothing will ever change. So wake up people and look at how many service members are killed and maimed in a war that can and will never ever be won. And one more thing. Most of these military leaders were hand picked by Bush so they will say anything to keep their jobs and make the president happy. Think about it.
