Bush: Stay Put Congress Until Work Is Done

It seems like a reasonable enough request. Keep your summer vacation at bay until a new terrorism and wiretapping law can be passed. Basically, they are trying to get an update to the 1978 FISA law that details what can and can't be wiretapped.

Unfortunately for Congress, Bush has the Constitutional authority to require Congress to return. So, it appears that this is his first "ask nicely" round, and if they don't, then it might get ugly.

I'm going to go get some popcorn for this one.
