Karl Rove Resigning
Man, liberals heads must be exploding right now. Karl Rove, arguably the one person responsible for the outcome of the 2004 Presidential elections, has announced that he will resign at the end of the month.
When asked for his reaction to those who say he's being "run out of town," Rove responded, "That sounds like the rooster claiming to have called up the sun."
True, he may have been "run out of town", but he's certainly not going to admit that to anyone. It could also be that he's simply burned out of the job. It's a high pressure job and there aren't any upcoming elections that he can be a key part of, so why stick around? That being said, personally I would have stuck around until the next President was elected, even if I was burned out, just to piss of the Democrats.
But that's just me being vindictive.
