If he can't keep a grip on power, and he allows anti-US elements to take over, he very well may have a very LARGE US problem. We certainly aren't going to allow Taliban/anti-US elements to control a nuclear weapons cache and we certainly aren't going to keep working with Pakistan if they stop working with us in finding Bin Laden. (which they are already doing a piss poor job of)
