Hosted Chat

I have been putting together a hosted chat session for the coming weeks. If you wish to join me, I will have details shortly. I'm not expect a large turnout (if one at all), but all are welcome (liberals included).

Michael Moore Is An Idiot

Just take a gander at this. He's asking for Bush to HELP him because he made an illegal trip to Cuba, filmed it, flaunted it in the face of everyone, and now he's in trouble for it.

Tell me Michael, why should he help you when you railed against him in just about every possible way? Why should he do ANYTHING to make your life easier when you didn't do the same for him? You broke US law and now you're going to pay for it.

The Bush administration knew of his plans to travel to Cuba since last October, said Moore, who went there in March with about 10 ailing workers involved in the rescue effort at the World Trade Center ruins.

So it's the governments job to make sure this guy does follow through with his plans to go to Cuba? Is it their job to follow up with me because of my trip to Las Vegas? Michael, don't flatter yourself, you're an idiot who broke the law and you'll have to pay for it just like Paris Hilton does.

Bush Needs Credit For This

Tax cuts work. Democrats don't want you to believe it. They want you to think that to pay for their pie in the sky things, they need to raise taxes. John Edwards' ideas will cost this country 1 TRILLION dollars. To put that in perspective, the Iraq war has cost this country $450 billion so far. In other words, you could have fought Iraq TWICE and still have $100 billion left over.

We have record revenue and it's during Bush's tax cuts. The Federal government took in $1.5 TRILLION dollars in April. So tell me, if they roll back taxes, do you think that the Federal government will take in that much money? John Edwards wants to hike capital gains taxes. Those are taxes on profits you make when you invest your money. If you have a higher tax rate, you're less likely to invest your money. That hurts everyone as lack of investor funds trickles down to the lowest level of our economy.

John Edwards wants to GIVE AWAY $3 billion dollars to the poor in $500 work bonds to help the poor. I had to work for my money and education, so if it's good enough for me, it's good enough for them. I grew up DIRT poor and made a life for myself because I wasn't lazy. You want to be lazy, fine. But don't expect a handout from me. I'll gladly give a hand up to anyone who wants to help themselves and their families.

John Edwards wants to spend $3 BILLION to give an education to every child on the planet. Since when was THAT our responsibility??

The bottom line is that tax cuts work, fiscal responsibility needs to happen, and Democrat's aren't responsible enough to do that. Yes, Republicans have gotten out of hand in terms of spending, and that needs to change, but would you want a guy who wants to take your tax dollars and educate children around the world when we have a crappy public school system here in America?

Democrats Smacked By By Iraq

When Democrats tell you that Iraqi's don't want us there and how we should be listening to the Generals in the field, you'd think that they would know what they are talking about right? Wrong.
"I do not have enough soldiers right now in Diyala province to get that security situation moving," said Army Maj. Gen. Benjamin R. Mixon, commander of the 25th Infantry Division.

He's saying that more men are needed. Granted, it should be more Iraqi security forces, but soldiers are still needed. If he's saying that now, what do you think the security situation will be if Democrats have their way and we leave? That'll create an even bigger security hole then what is there now.

So, Democrats tell us that Iraq leaders want us out. Wrong again. Kurdish President Jalal Talabani has said that US troops may be needed for another year to two. Jesus, you'd swear that Democrats just make shit up and use snippets of information to support their viewpoint.

Even Barack Obama is doing the same thing when he said "While our fuel standards haven't moved from 27.5 miles per gallon in two decades, both China and Japan have surpassed us, with Japanese cars now getting an average of 45 miles to the gallon" But Toyota, Japan's largest auto manufacturer states: "I'm not sure where he got that figure," Toyota spokesman Mike Michels said. "No carmaker gets 45 m.p.g. Ours is closer to 30 m.p.g."

So do us all a favor Democrats, get ALL the facts before you go spouting off viewpoints that make no sense, put innocent people in danger, and allow the very thing you say you're going to fight to flourish.

Democrats And Bush Have One Thing In Common

Extremely low approval ratings. When you hear about how Bush's ratings are at an all time low, you'd think that Congress and Democrats would naturally get higher ratings right? You'd be wrong. They are BOTH sitting in the low to mid 30% range right now. Now, that makes for a few interesting points.

First off, that means that Congress doesn't have the "will of the American people" on it's side like Nancy Pelosi likes to claim. That means that they are equally doing a shitty job in the eyes of most Americans.

Secondly, that means that Congress hasn't fulfilled their campaign promises that they said they would in the election in November.

However, both sides can bring their approval ratings up significantly with a bit of action. First off, no more "the war is lost" bullshit. The war was won a long time ago. We took out Saddam, decimated his military, and captured or killed thousands of al-Qaeda members. Secondly, no more deadlines. There isn't a nation on earth that can rebuild an entire country destroyed by Saddam's policies overnight. Lastly, stop pork spending. Funds for spinach farmers being attached to military spending bills shows what kind of liar you are when you promise to cut pork then turn around and add pork to a bill.

NJ Legislators Are Idiots

So let me ask you something. With the recent Fort Dix plot uncovered where Islamic extremists had attempted to purchase automatic AK-47's, M-16's and hand grenades, what do you suppose politicians would do "so that this never happens again"?

Why they'd move to ban .50 caliber sniper rifles! Yes, it all makes sense now. Nevermind that the weapons they tried to get were .223, and 7.62mm calibers. Nevermind that fully automatic weapons are not available to the general public. Nevermind that having a hand grenade is in of itself a major crime. But NO, let's ban a rifle that had absolutely NOTHING to do with the plot.

But, we have people in the public eye who have a bit of sense:

"Gun bans will not stop a criminal intent on doing harm, because the criminal mind will always find another tool," said Scott L. Bach, president of the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs. "This feel-good legislation disarms only responsible citizens and does nothing to prevent crime."

This would be like banning 18 wheeler trucks because someone crashed their Honda Civic into a school bus. Criminals won't think twice about breaking gun laws if they are thinking of injuring or killing people. So STOP TRYING TO TAKE OUR GUNS. Perhaps you don't understand the phrase "Shall Not Be Infringed". Here's a link just in case you need a bit of a helping hand.

Chinese Spy Convicted

I've posted about this guy before, and now he's been convicted and faces 35 years in jail. This is what we should do with spies. Of course with overwhelming evidence, he's using the "I didn't know it was illegal" defense. He's admitted he lied, he admitted he copied classified information, he even names his Chinese government counterpart.

It's pretty open and shut if you ask me. The Chinese have been wanting to get at our military, especially naval, secrets for years. We've been shutting them down left and right, and now they've gotten caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Leaks such as this endanger military personnel and allow the Chinese to have an upper hand in things. While I don't believe that they are a threat to the US directly, they are always talking about taking back Taiwan. We are obligated by law to help defend Taiwan and if shit hits the fan, how do you think we're going to defend them? With the US Navy of course. If the Chinese know the inside and out of a state of the art submarine, they can use that to their advantage and kill many sailors. This is why this conviction and shining a spotlight onto the Chinese's activities is so important. Perhaps the Chinese would like it if we took classified information about their military or something sensitive about them? I'm not saying we aren't, I'm just saying what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Wanna Be A Sperm Donor?

Then you'd better ONLY be a donor. If you start to get involved in the child's life, then you become a "parent" in the eyes of the law and thus, be liable for child support. That's pretty fair though. If you're just a donor, you're just a donor. If you become involved, then the child would naturally think you're a parent or an adult guardian of some kind. Unfortunately, the donor has since died so he won't be on the hook for anything, but keep an eye out in case you find yourself in that situation.

Does George Bush Read My Blog?

Just yesterday, I wrote about benchmarks that would be directly linked to funds that help our Iraqi's but does not harm troop funds. Then today, Bush announces he's ok with Iraqi benchmarks. Of course, Nancy Pelosi has to piss on any parade:

"The president refuses to listen to the American people who want this war to end," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, said.

Well Nancy, I'm a part of the American people and I want this war to end, but with the Iraqi nation in one piece, their security forces on their feet, and Iraqi citizens able to not live in fear. I want them to know that the Americans can be trusted as friends and can be counted on when the chips are down, instead of leaving when we are needed most. I want them to be able to live as you or I do.

Democrat Hypocracy - AGAIN

God, it's like these people have some kind of brain damage that doesn't let them remember past a few months ago. They all bitched and complained that George W. Bush "stole" the election and that it wasn't fair that people's votes weren't counted and other such nonsense.

Now they're trying to do the same thing to their own delegates.

What if Democratic voters turned out for a presidential primary in Florida and their vote didn't count?

It's an option national Democratic leaders are seriously considering as they grapple with Florida's newly scheduled 2008 presidential primary date, which could upend the national primary process and produce yet another weird Florida election. Consider the scenario:

On Jan. 29, Florida Republicans and Democrats head to the polls to pick presidential nominees. Republican votes count, just as you would expect, but the results for Democrats would be nonbinding. No delegates would be awarded based upon the results and instead party activists and insiders would decide on some later date how to divvy up the state's more than 200 delegates to the Democratic national convention.

So in other words, you could have a back door deal that would mean that their votes wouldn't count. Think about that for a minute. If 150 delegates vote for say Hillary Clinton, and those in power decide they don't like her, they could give any or all of the delegates votes to Barack Obama or any other candidate.

That's not how elections work people. They are doing the exact thing they railed against in 2000 and in 2004. They are sore losers and they are willing to do whatever it takes to get back into power in the White House. You sure you want a political party in the White House that pulls that kind of shenanigans?

Hamas Lied

So there was a big uproar over Hamas' use of a ripoff of Mickey Mouse to spew out hatred towards the US and Israel. Everyone said that it'd get yanked off the air. But low and behold, it's not. Let's call a spade a spade here people: These are dangerous people who are poisoning the minds of young children who may likely grow up to commit violent acts against innocent civilians. This needs to stop here now.

Now, if that means that we get significantly more severe in our sanctions against the Palestinian government, then let's do that. Cut these people off at the knees. Nothing gets through, not food, not medicine, not anything. Let them rip each other apart and let them see what it's like to preach hatred and know what it really means to be an enemy. They spew out bullshit left and right and then they have the fucking nerve to ask for financial aid from the US and other governments. Then they have the nerve to threaten us if we don't start the money flowing again. You know what that's called? Extortion. The Mafia does it. It's time we stood up and told these people to either knock it off or face the real wrath of crippling sanctions. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has gone on long enough. It's time we did something that will permanently end this conflict.

Putin Compares US Foreign Policy To Third Reich

Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm the asshole here, but PUTIN of all people is criticizing us? Does he not know that his government has been responsible for the murders of various members of the press? He doesn't like the fact that we're being friendly to eastern European countries that used to be very close to Russia.

Yes, Russia is SLOWLY pulling itself out of it's 1991 total collapse, but that doesn't give them the right to just throw around accusations. Do we point fingers when government critics suddenly show up dead? Do we point fingers when Russia shuts off the energy tap to blackmail and extort eastern European countries for more then twice the agreed upon price of natural gas? It's a tad hypocritical of Putin to consolidate power and then claim that we're the one's who're acting like Nazi's.

Hypocracy At The NY Times

God how I love to point out hypocracy. Some people like to golf, this is my hobby. This is all over the news, so I just had to post about it. A little more than a year ago, the NY Times exposed a data mining operation by the US government on it's citizens, they plan on doing the EXACT SAME THING.

Of course there's subtle differences between the two programs. First, the NSA's program was designed to find unknown threats against this country and protect American citizens from attack. The NY Times' program is about money.

Of course people will say "You can't escape the NSA's reach, but you can just not use the NYT's website". Well you CAN escape the NSA's reach by not using electronic communications, but people don't want to give up their cell phones, internet access, and emails. It's all about perspective.

I don't rail against certain "Republican" subjects because I would be a hypocrite in doing so. For example: Abortion. I have never been in a situation where the woman in my life was pregnant and wanted an abortion, so I'm not going to preach to someone because I have never been in that situation. Plus, it's not fair for me to try to impose my views onto someone else's life.

Personally, earlier in my life in my late teens and early twenties, when I was broke and had nothing, I might have given serious thought about an abortion if the situation came up and the woman thought about it too. Now, I would be against it because I now have the means to support a child. However, that's MY opinion and not what the woman should or shouldn't do. It's still up to her on how she wants her pregnancy to end: either with a child or an abortion.

Terrorist's Are Now Saying "Please"

Moqtada al-Sadr's political folks are now throwing around a petition that has been signed by 144 legislators denouncing the "occupation" that we are currently involved in. They are asking us to leave basically. So what Moqtada is basically saying is: "We're having problems running freely terrorizing innocent Iraqi civilians with these pesky American soldiers around. We'd be able to do it much easier if they were gone"

Of course, this is just a line of bullshit that won't go anywhere, but it hasn't stopped the left wing loonies from coming out of the woodwork to state how this "shows us that even the Iraqi government doesn't want us there". I don't think people really get it here. We aren't going anywhere until Iraq is safe and secure from those who wish to bring it down. I don't know how much clearer we can be. Giving time lines, saying the war is "lost" when it clearly isn't, and other such nonsense only emboldens those who wish to set off bombs in crowded markets and allows them to use such statements as fodder for propaganda.

If liberals weren't so interested in the destruction of America and their blind hatred of George Bush led them to make wild accusations, the insurgency would have died off a long time ago.

Hezbollah Comes Closer

This is a perfect example of why targeted assassinations should become more common place. Hezbollah has built bases in South America and is threatening the US. Do you need a clearer message than:

If he attacks Iran, in two minutes Bush is dead,” Meri said. “We are Muslims. I am Hezbollah. We are Muslims, and we will defend our countries at any time they are attacked.

Hunt down and kill or capture everyone associated with these terrorist groups. You don't want to find out how serious they are when you're watching smoke rise from a building in downtown USA. If the CIA and special forces start hunting these people down you'll either eliminate the threat or make them think twice before attacking. We need to return to our reputation as a fierce enemy and at the same time, a loyal friend.

Let's Tease Barack Obama

Yesterday I posted a joke about George W. Bush that a North Korean general told. Now it's only fair I return the favor. Barack Obama claimed that 10,000 people were killed in the recent tornadoes in the midwest. Actual death toll: 12. Now I'm not saying he intentionally lied or is trying to mislead everyone. I'm just saying he's used to using large numbers when he preaches (like in the Iraq war) and just got over excited.

However, I would like to point out the hypocracy of liberals when it comes to Bush. If he makes any kind of public goof up (which admittedly he's made tons) liberals love to jump on it and shove it down everyone's throat to show how he's an idiot and deserves impeachment and other such nonsense.

Box Cutters Found On Airplane

Sure, you definitely want to check everyone and everything that had to do with that flight and the previous flights, but let me explain to you why another 9/11 won't happen for a very long time.

People remember. People remember that hijackings are now VERY serious business and that the hijackers may find themselves on the business end of a severe beating by passengers. There used to be a time where a hijacker just wanted demands met and everyone went on their merry little way. September 11th changed that. Now, if a hijacker tries that stuff on a plane, I know I'll be one of the first ones to stand up and whip some hijacker ass. I work out all the time and box with my speed and heavy bag and you're telling me that I can now beat someone who truly deserves it without fear of arrest? Count me in.

You can't go your whole life living in fear. You need to stand up and kick someone in the ass when needed, that's what being an American is all about. My goal is to have the next generation read about terrorism in history books and say "what was it like"? I don't ever want them to know the dark hours we've faced as a nation in their lives.

Man Charged With Wiretapping For Taping His Own Arrest

I think the cops may have a problem on their hands. Yes, the man was arrested for DWI and should rightfully be sitting in jail. However, the officers don't understand that since he was in public, there is no expectation of privacy and the man was indeed within his rights to audio record his arrest. It would be no different if I were recording the arrest from across the street.

The law works both ways and unfortunately for the cops, they may have a nasty lawsuit on their hands. If he were recording over the phone or something like that, it would be wiretapping, but since he was recording what was in the public, it's not.

Bush Will Veto New Iraq Bill

You have to hand it to the guy, when he wants something, he'll push for it. It doesn't help Democrats when Defense Secretary Robert Gates told a Senate committee that such short-term funding would be very disruptive and "have a huge impact" on contracts to repair and replace equipment. The Defense Department, he said, just doesn't "have the agility to manage a two month appropriation."

The problem is that Democrats are between a rock and a hard place. They want the Iraq war to fail (don't even bother telling me that they don't because they show it in their actions), they want to appease their constituents, but they don't want to appear to not support the troops on the ground. Sooner or later, someone's going to have to give and I don't think Bush is going to be the one to blink first. However, if Democrats said "we'll give you the funds in full, but we want benchmarks" that didn't include a time line, I think that would be a fair enough compromise. You can't set a time line and expect things to automatically calm down. However, if you said "violence must go down say 10% in 6 months" or whatever then start withholding aid to Baghdad, but NOT to the troops on the ground, then you'll start seeing more results.

Put people to work, get basic services up and running, get air conditioning running. These are key to getting people to calm down and report more insurgents. If you threaten to withhold funds from troops, you rightfully earn the title "traitor".

Pork Spending At It's Worst

Check this one out. Politicians (mainly Democrats) have submitted a bill that would give reparations to residents of Guam for war crimes that were committed by the Japanese army.

Read that again. Your "representatives" want to pay victims and their families tax money that you earned to pay for crimes that were committed by ANOTHER COUNTRY. This is the biggest line of bullshit I've ever seen from Democrats. Just when I think they can't possibly do worse, they raise the bar higher. America isn't responsible for all the world's ills and Democrats need to get it through their thick skulls that American's aren't going to pay for it.

Democrats love to talk about how the country is going to be bankrupt because of pork spending. It was even a campaign promise to get rid of it during the 2006 election. For example:

Steny Hoyer - Voted YES on restricting bankruptcy rules

In other words, he wants to make it harder for you to declare bankruptcy, but he doesn't mind submitting a bill that would give away your hard earned money to people we weren't responsible for.

"Republican" Dan Burton took it a step further and supports a balanced budget amendment, but also has his name attached to this bill.

Pork barrel spending needs to stop NOW. We need to get back to fiscal responsibility and pay off debts for "rainy days". The website works kind of funny when it comes to linking to various bills, so I'll paste the first bits of text of the bill. The Bill's # is HR 1595 IH.

SEC. 2. RECOGNITION OF THE SUFFERING AND LOYALTY OF THE RESIDENTS OF GUAM.

SEC. 3. PAYMENTS FOR GUAM WORLD WAR II CLAIMS.

Rice - Bush Won't Give Up Military Option On Iran

I don't know why this even needs to be stated. Of course there's always going to be a military option. You can't have a "carrot" without the "stick". Iran is starting to feel the pressure of our sanctions and with another UN deadline coming up, it's pushing Russia and China, Iran's closest allies, into a corner where they have to vote for additional sanctions.

How far is Iran willing to go? No one knows for sure, but we've offered a pretty big carrot: "The international community has made its demands through the United Nations; Iran should stop nuclear enrichment, after that there would be a change in the U.S. policy that has been going on for 27 years and then I can talk to them about any issue."

Isn't that what Iran wanted to begin with? A non-hostile policy? We all know North Korea wanted that, but is Iran's financial situation so bad that they are willing to try North Korean tactics to get additional funds? I would be very surprised if that was the case, but if we can get Iran to stop enrichment and halt their nuclear program without firing a shot or dropping a bomb, it's worth a try.

However, you have to wonder if history is repeating itself. Would this drag on for another year and a half and if a tough leader such as McCain or Guiliani get elected, would they drop everything at the drop of a hat like they did with Reagan? An interesting theory, but I don't have any evidence to back that claim up except a gut feeling.

North Korea Gets A Sense Of Humor

Even though it's a crack about George Bush, I still think it's pretty funny, especially since it's coming from a North Korean general.

He then retold the old yarn about Bush who goes out jogging one morning and, preoccupied with international affairs, fails to notice that a car is heading straight at him.

A group of schoolchildren pull the president away just in time, saving his life, and a grateful Bush offers them anything they want in the world as a reward.

"We want a place reserved for us at Arlington Memorial Cemetery," say the children.

"Why is that?" he asks.

"Because our parents will kill us if they find out what we've done."

Plot To Kill Soldiers In US Foiled

The FBI has arrested 6 people in connection with a plot to storm Fort Dix and kill as many people as possible. It was well into advanced stages and these guys are facing a nasty jail term and hopefully a trip to Guantanamo Bay. Now, let's analyze a few things here. First off, if you want to debate immigration, here's a nasty point for you to ponder:

Three of the six are in the U.S. illegally, according to an FBI affidavit filed with the criminal complaints.

So, if immigration was more strictly enforced, HALF of these guys wouldn't even be in the country. But let's not get off the topic. These guys are idiots. First off, you plan on attacking a military base? You have a very slim chance of a high body count. These men are heavily armed and well trained. They don't take security lightly. Granted, you may kill a few people, but by an large, you're not going to accomplish much.

Here's a link to the criminal complaint. (PDF)

GOP At Crossroads After Bush?

This is an interesting article, but it states that after George Bush leaves office that the answers on how to turn around the Republican party aren't easy. I say they are and here's some of the things that Republicans can do to win over more of the American public.

Tax Cuts: Economic experts have repeatedly said that tax cuts to a degree in just the right areas can boost the governments revenues significantly. For example, if someone starts getting an additional say 5% in their pockets at the end of the year, what do you think they do with that money? They'll pay off bills, purchase goods and services, and help stimulate the economy. Those goods and services are taxed, thus, putting money back into the pockets of the government. Sure, some people will save that money and earn interest or invest it, but by and large they will want to take that family vacation, purchase that new plasma TV, or new car. People are smart enough to know what to do with the money that they earn, so let them decide.
Listen to Democrats, especially John Edwards or Hillary Clinton. They want to "TAKE" profits from corporations and "GIVE" them to various places such as universal health care and other pet projects. So, what happens if a corporation has a bad quarter and they say lose $100 million dollars? Are Democrats going to take money away from universal health care to help people keep their jobs? No of course not.

National Defense: The Iraq war has divided this country very deeply. Soldiers on the ground are saying that they are doing good work and want to stay there. Politicians are pushing to have them home sooner then they'd like. Doing this would be disastrous. It would tell ordinary Iraqi citizens that they cannot trust the Americans and that we would be willing to "leave them to the wolves". How many people do you think would turn to terrorism if we turned our backs on an entire nation? Terrorists are coming to Iraq, not to New York. They are fighting armed and armored soldiers, not office workers. Regardless of what you think, that is a good thing.

Secondly, find Osama and al-Zahrawi. I cannot stress this enough. Symbolically and strategically, these two are the most important people to find right now. Finding these two will be tough for military and intelligence services, but I believe that we can capture or kill both of them without infringing on the rights of ordinary American citizens. That being said, any abuse of the rights of ordinary Americans should be punished severely. There's a reason why this is the greatest country in the world, and we cannot afford to turn it into a police state with people's rights being trampled on. If you believe that someone is involved with terrorism, get a FISA warrant. You can even get one after the fact. There's no reason not to.

Lesser Government: People don't like "big brother" looking over their shoulders all the time. We should trim the fat wherever possible. Pork projects should be eliminated or severely reduced to come back to fiscal responsibility. I'm not saying put someone working for the government out of a job, but let's start using the people we have in smarter ways to get a better "bang" for our buck. Corporations work to make a profit, the US government should be run the same way.

Fiscal Responsibility: This is a very important one. We need to cut out the fat in spending. No more private jets for all but the most senior members of government. No more "bridges to nowhere". No more "taxing the rich" just because they are successful. Grab the brightest financial minds from around the world if need be and come up with a plan to get rid of this country's debt and pass a law stating that the budget has to be balanced unless there is an emergency that is agreed upon by Congress and the President (war, natural disaster, etc). Learn to tell people "no". There's no reason why the government should be still supporting Hurricane Katrina victims a year and a half after the fact. Why should these people be living in rent free places when you and I have to pay rent? I don't mind helping natural disaster victims, but there comes a time where you have to say "enough".

Gun Control: No new gun control laws until existing ones are enforced. There is no reason why a person cannot purchase more than 1 gun a month as with some states. Gun collectors and people who find bargains are the ones being hurt by that. Slap on an additional 5 year sentence for serious crimes involving a gun. Law abiding citizens are ALWAYS the ones most hurt by gun control legislation and it's about time someone stood up for their rights instead of allowing a few bad apples to spoil the barrel.

Abortion Rights: This is a sore subject with conservatives, but I'll make it perfectly clear. If you are against abortion, don't have one. Don't infringe on the rights of others because it's against your beliefs. The same holds true for gun control laws. Conservatives don't like it when liberals ask for gun control laws, so it's only fair for liberals to not want new abortion laws. At least we can all agree on that. The Supreme Court ruled that abortions are legal. The Supreme Court has the final say in matters such as this one, so let it rest.

Stop Trying To Be Reagan: No one likes an imitator. Don't "try to be like Reagan", be yourself. After all, who was Reagan trying to be when he went into office?

Be Honest With The American Public: We all get it that the President can't share a lot of information because it's classified or it would show our hand to other nations we are having disagreements with, but if you are honest with everyone, the American public is very forgiving. Also, if you don't know the answer to something, just say "I don't know". I prefer that than a half assed answer with no real substance. How about "I don't know, but I'll get you that answer", that gives me honesty and follow through that I respect a lot more.

Follow Through: Which leads me to this point. If you're going to say something, do it. If you promise something on the campaign trail, follow through with it. Yes, you have to get it past Congress, but at least you give it a shot and make attempts to keep your promises. The American public would forgive someone if they attempted to keep a campaign promise but Congress didn't let it pass.

Give Great Speeches: This one gets overlooked a lot. If you give a great speech that offers people hope and a new outlook at their homeland, it makes them feel better about you, our country, and their lives. Happy people are productive people. Productive people are the ones who come up with the great ideas that fuel our economy and make our lives easier and better.

If the Republicans go back to these values, you can bet that they would win over more of the American public as a good majority support these values.

Paris Hilton Has No Grip On Reality

Normally I don't post about celebrity news, but this one just HAS to be. Paris Hilton is calling her 45 day jail sentence for violating her probation TWICE as "cruel and unwarranted".

I don't know about you, but if we were in the same situation, the judge would do the same thing. Paris knowingly lied to the judge:

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer rejected the 26-year-old socialite's defense that she didn't realize her license was suspended and ordered her to report to a county detention facility on June 5.

She was pulled over TWICE and given tickets for having a suspended license for her DUI conviction. She then claimed she didn't know it was suspended even though a ticket with her signature showing that she wasn't supposed to drive was in her glove box. If you want to know where she gets such a "holier then thou" attitude, look no further then her mother:

Hilton's mother Kathy voiced her anger at the ruling over the weekend. "This is pathetic and disgusting, a waste of taxpayers' money with this nonsense. It is a joke," she told Hollywood.com.

Next time Paris, don't rely on your publicist to tell you the law, rely on the officer who gives you a ticket and read what you sign. Idiot.

North Korea To Shut Down Reactors Once They Get Their Money

They've said this in the past, but when things get rolling, they start to backtrack. They already broke part of the agreement to shut down the reactors in April, so how would suddenly the funds make that much of a difference? Why should we trust the North Korean government at all? They have proven time and time again that they break their word when they make deals, then they make a new deal with vague threats, then we come to an agreement and they back off again.

It's a continuing cycle that needs to stop now. Where's China in all this? Yes, they are in talks with the North Korean government with us, but why don't the Chinese provide the financial aid instead of us? They are flowing with cash from their use of slave labor and cheap prices on goods. Why should the US have to foot the entire bill for this?

The US is constantly being looked at as the "Dad" of the world. Whenever something needs to be taken care of, if someone needs money, if someone wants to borrow the car, they look at the US. How about you start looking at China or Russia? They want to be world superpowers like the US, so let them start by doling out the money to various countries while those same countries hate your guts. Let them know what that's like. If they want to wear the "daddy pants", let them.

How about we just cut off aid to all but strategic partners and let the rest of the world deal with their own issues. How about Hollywood celebrities start writing checks to various places that they want the US government to take care of like Darfur? I don't see George Clooney taking out his checkbook and spending all his money on his little project of the moment.

Bomb Goes Off In Las Vegas Parking Garage

Well I guess it's a good thing I'm not staying at the Luxor. My wife and I are planning a trip to Vegas here in early June and the Luxor was one of the places that we were looking at staying at. Details are sketchy at the moment, we don't know if the explosion was the result of a terrorist attack or someone doing something stupid, but backpacks don't just explode.

Question For Bill Clinton And Democrats

Bill Clinton gave a recent speech about famine, hunger, obesity, and other humanitarian needs. But my question is, don't Democrats in general complain of US "interference" in other countries? Wouldn't this be considered "interference"?

I'm all for helping out other countries, especially if other countries such as China and Russia help out equally as much, but let's cut the hypocritical crap here and either you "interfere" or you don't.

Ayman al-Zawahiri Targets The Weak

Take a good hard look at what the #2 Al-Qaeda guy is saying. He's targeting Democrats who want to leave Iraq.

"This bill reflects American failure and frustration," says al-Zawahiri, second-in-command to Osama bin Laden. "However, this bill will deprive us of the opportunity to destroy the American forces which we have caught in a historic trap.

"We ask Allah that they only get out of it after losing 200 to 300 hundred thousand killed, in order that we give the spillers of blood in Washington and Europe an unforgettable lesson, which will motivate them to review their entire doctrinal and moral system which produced their historic criminal Crusader-Zionist entity," al-Zawahiri says.

"This bill reflects American failure and frustration". He's telling you that Democrats who want out of Iraq are failing. He's telling you that he wants us to not fight him and his men anymore. "which will motivate them to review their entire doctrinal and moral system". He wants us to go back home in shame and take the fight of us. It's that simple. There is no "historical trap", he's full of shit. He's targeting weak willed people because he sees that weakness and is trying to exploit it.

Take a look, you'll see liberals trying to use this line of bullshit with "see! if we just leave they'll leave us alone". He's been quoted as saying he'd like to kill every American, but you'll see people with very little long term memories of that. Here's a perfect example of the idiotic thinking of liberals from one of the most popular blogs on the internet. Yet, take a look at the comments section. NOT ONE person says Ayman al-Zawahiri needs to be captured or killed.

What's more troubling is these idiots believe everything that comes out of Ayman al-Zawahiri's mouth when it fits their agenda. If Ayman al-Zawahiri said that Bush's plan of action against terrorism was working, I think their heads would explode. So if they want to take his word at everything, let's take a look at this little nugget:

Al-Zawahiri told the Hamas leadership in the Palestinian territories to keep the faith with its staunch tenets. Hamas is considered a terrorist movement by Israel, the United States and the European Union.

"I ask the leadership of Hamas, first, not to turn away from the true rule of sharia and to only agree to participate in elections on the basis of an Islamic constitution," he said.

"And I ask it, second, that if it is given the choice between abandoning government and abandoning Palestine, it should abstain from government and hold on to Palestine and choose jihad and resistance."

That means that he acknowledges that Hamas as a terrorist group. He acknowledges that instead of going down the path of peace and government, they should choose violence and chaos. Where's liberal idiots with that statement? Where are they going to stand up and protest how Hamas shouldn't be given financial aid? Where are they going to protest Hamas' practice of putting bombs on school buses, night clubs, and restaurants?

The truth is that they aren't. They are weak when it comes to direct threats against this nation and want to appease those who want them dead. They are only interested in protesting Bush and Republicans, not those who were directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of people here and around the world.

The fact is, Al-Qaeda DOESN'T want us to stay in Iraq. They keep sending in men who keep getting killed by our guys. They'd rather fly over to our home land and kill unarmed civilians. Don't believe me? Look it up. Tell me how it's a "historical trap" that Al-Qaeda set? It's all bullshit and Ayman al-Zawahiri knows it. His idiotic men are coming to Iraq to kill American soldiers and they are getting deservedly slaughtered by the thousands.

Don't believe me? Ask any soldier. They'll tell you the real story on the ground. They'll tell you that we're making huge strides in Iraq that the media doesn't report. What sells a story? 30 people killed by a bomb or neighborhoods that have reopened shops, rebuilt schools, and people praising our invasion? The soldiers in Iraq are getting knifed in the back by the media and liberals and it seems like I'm the only one pointing it out.
